Melorani is now able to offer the rifle hunter wonderful hunting opportunities in our district.
In addition to acquiring our own hunting concession 15 minutes away from camp, we have also teamed up with ph and outfitter James Hill who has his own property and camp in the nearby Enselsberg mountains. Through James we can offer a wider variety of species including bushbuck, mountain reedbuck, baboon and klipspringer as well as all the usual bushveld species.
On our own concession which we are leasing on a long term basis from Mr Kruger ( thus nicknamed Kruger Park) we have excellent kudu, zebra, impala, gemsbuck, wildebeest, waterbuck and other small species.
The Marico district in the North West Province (where we are situated) has some of the best hunting to offer in South Africa and operating from our base camps we can offer rifle hunters almost any species in their natural surrounds within an hours drive, including blesbuck, springbuck and black wildebeest.
Rifle hunting thus offers the chance to move to where the animals are naturally occurring and so habitats vary from open grass plains and savannahs to thick thorn veld, hills and valleys

Basically, with the diversity of the E Cape combined with the Melorani district bushveld, we can offer the rifle hunter almost any species available in South Africa.
